PACE offers a wide range of workshops and groups for gay and bisexual men in London. Workshops are a rare opportunity to meet other gay men in a non-commercial environment. We talk about different aspects of gay life, from bars and cruising to sex and relationships and everything else in between. Workshops are a chance to talk about your own experiences and hear about others. We aim for workshops to be safe, friendly and relaxed, with a mix of activities that allow people to participate in a way that's right for them.
  • Our workshops are FREE and are provided by experienced, professional facilitators.

They usually run over a weekend or eight evenings. Workshops include group discussions, information-giving and exercises you do on your own, in pairs or small groups. There will be a chance to learn skills and strategies for dealing with the issues discussed, & time to think about how to apply these in your life.

ALL men who are sexually attracted to other men are welcome to come on our workshops. We run some specific workshops for HIV positive gay men and Black gay men because we have found that people often value meeting with others who share similar experiences.

Some people are nervous or wary about going on a workshop, because it's a new experience or because they think it might be a waste of time.

Nearly everyone who's come on our workshops finds them valuable and many are surprised at how well they get to know the other participants in such a short space of time.   If you want to talk to someone before deciding whether or not to book onto a workshop you can ring Robert on 020 7700 1323 and we'll be happy to help.

  • Below you will find some examples of the workshops we run. We do lots of other workshops so if you don't see what you're interested in here, give us a ring and we'll see if we can help.
  • Let's Talk About Sex
Do you want to make changes to your sex life?   Let's Talk About Sex is an eight evening and one day group for gay men who want to talk about sex with other gay men and, together, find ways of making the changes they want.
  • Games People Play
Do you sometimes feel stuck in your ways of relating to other people? Games People Play is a weekend workshop using assertion skills as a way of breaking passive, aggressive and manipulating ways of relating to others.
  • Brotha 2 Brotha
Do you want to talk about what Brothahood means to you with other African & African-Caribbean men?  This weekend workshop will explore and celebrate the relationships, community and lifestyles of Black men who love men. All African & African-Caribbean gay/bi men are welcome.
  • Positively Speaking
Do you want to talk with other HIV positive men about sex, relationships and life? Positively Speaking is a workshop for gay men living with the virus to share their experiences with other men, and gain support and ideas for the future.
  • Sorted?
Do you sometimes feel out of control of the drugs you take, or how much you drink? Sorted? is weekend workshop for gay/bi men to explore how the drink/drugs scene affects you, your relationships and the sex you're having.
