And we’ve certainly been busy! This page lists our past weekly youth group events for young women, and is provided for information purposes only. (Commencing: October 2004). Wednesday 3rd December – Over 18’s Comedy Night Out
A special visit to the infamous Royal Vauxhall Tavern for a hilarious gay comedy night…over 18’s only tonight I’m afraid…watch this space for more info…
Wednesday 10th December – Talent skills session
In preparation for next weeks party, we will be touting our talents…whether it’s a 5 minute comedy sketch, Irish dancing, breakdancing (Kaz!!) or juggling, come and polish up your party pieces!!!
Friday 19th December – ***Out East End of Year Party*** (tbc)
We are invited to a party, hooking up with Beau Belles and other East London LGBTQ youth groups, for themed performance, food, fancy dress, and general shenanigans…let’s finish the Girl Diva year in style!!

Wednesday 5th November – Climb any Mountain
It’s official – climbing is the new clubbing!! We will be heading over to Mile End climbing centre to conquer those knobbly walls and most definitely not check out all the fit girlz...oh, go on then!!
Wednesday 12th November – Labels and Identity
A group member led session thinking about labels, stereotypes, and how we define ourselves!!
Wednesday 19th November – ***L Word extravaganza***
Tonight’s session will be dedicated to all things L-Word! Come along as your favourite character, take part in our L Quiz and basically celebrate those glam women who put the L back in LA!!
Friday 28th November – World Aids Day
Check back for session confirmation nearer the time but we plan to be joining up with the boyz for a session focusing on World Aids Day on 1st December.

Time to get crafty! Back by popular demand, we have a session dedicated to setting free our inner artists…well mucking about with a bit of paint and some scissors anyway!!
Wednesday 8th October – Glad to be Gay
Tonight we have a workshop focusing on self esteem and coming out…cos once we realise how great we are, the whole world will wake up to it too!!
Wednesday 15th October – Over to You
It’s over to you again! Bring in pictures, music, games, magic tricks, or just a funny story about how you tripped over your laces on your first day of primary school!!
Wednesday 22nd October – Independent Women
Join us this evening for a fun and informative workshop on living independently, including tips on budgeting, housing and managing those bills, bills, bills…
Wednesday 29th October – Girls on Film
After all our hard work recently, we figured it would be nice to settle back & watch a movie!!

Tonight, as an extra special treat, we have a visit from the fabulous Sarah Waters, author of the best lesbian fiction since, well, ever…‘Tipping the Velvet’, ‘Fingersmith’, ‘The Night Watch’, if you haven’t read the books you’ll have seen them on TV…lets roll out the red velvet carpet!!!

Not quite on the scale of the Beijing Olympics, but we’ll do our best! Fun & games, prizes, healthy snacks & 80’s lycra!! Meet Highgate woods at 6:30pm for the official lighting of the gay torch!
PLEASE NOTE, GIRL DIVA WILL BE CLOSED FOR THE LAST TWO WEEKS OF AUGUST…BACK AS USUAL ON WEDNESDAY 3rd SEPTEMBER….HAVE FUN IN THE SUN!!

Time to get arty as we create a fabulous, knock em dead, Girl Diva banner to parade along the streets at Pride. Let’s make it magnificent!!

PRIDE LONDON
Meet at 11am at Speakers Corner if you want to hook up with Girl Diva and Outzone for a pre-Pride brunch before we join the main Pride parade…speak to Kaz for more info… Wednesday 9th July – Pride stories and chill out session Tonight we will be chilling out and telling our Pride stories… bring in any special photos from the day and we can pass them round or project them onto the big screen…

Crazy Art
This session will be led by Lila and involves getting creative with different mediums of art materials!!

After all our hard work recently, we figured it would be nice to settle back & watch a movie!!

Brighton Beach Ambush
Yep, we’re doing it again. We will be hooking up with Outzone for a fab day out at the ultimate gay seaside resort… limited places so speak to Jo or Kaz early if you wanna join us…(£3 contributions)
