OutZone 'OUT of the CITY' Residential Weekend 2010
04/03/10 07:36
The next (most excellent) OutZone Residential Weekend will be taking place at the end of March at Avon Tyrrell, in The New Forest, Hampshire, and is FREE for OutZone members. Places are extremely limited and the weekend is already over-subscribed.
The 'OutZone: OUT of the CITY' Residential Weekend will be a mix of workshops and outdoor activities, led in part, by OutZone Peer Mentors and Youth Workers. This weekend is also about building up self esteem and confidence, getting to know each other, team work, trying new things, learning about ourselves and being together.
This OutZone 'Resi' has been funded mainly by 'Islington Youth Opportunities Fund' - after a successful application/bid was submitted by OutZone Peer Mentor, Jason. (And very grateful we are too - Thanks Jase!)

PACE Youth Survey
10/01/10 18:21
PACE is currently undertaking a survey of young people's needs. We are trying to find out about how young LGBT people learn about sex and relationships, meet their sexual partners and become sexually active.
We are trying to understand the needs of young LGBT people better so that we can plan and deliver better help to people when they need or want it.
The online survey only takes a few minutes to complete and answers are completely confidential.
Note to professionals:
If you work with any young people who may identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender, or who are questioning their sexual or gender identity, please refer them to this survey (link below). We want to attract as diverse a range of responses as possible. Find out more over on the PACE Health webstie: www.pacehealth.org.uk
